I had to make a magazine article for class about any kind of product design designed after they year 2000. The article is for product design history and  it’s in Icelandic since my teacher Tinna Gunnars is Icelandic.

I picked Heavy Desk Light by Benjamin Hubert, because I find him really inspiring….he’s so young as has achieved so many things. I also find his designs very visually interesting and I like his material use as well.

Yesterday I just started a new course in school, ceramics. I have until next monday to come up with my design and then 4 weeks after that for mold making and working with the porcelain. We are supposed to make some kind of tool or utensil, in a quirky, fun and unexpected way. Exciting.
