Aldo Bakker is the son of notorious Gijs Bakker of Droog Design. He designed this lovely series of porcelain tableware for Frans Ottink. Aldo researched how we use normal tableware and tried to re-invent it’s shape. I love the organic form of the product range, and the fact that they are matte on the outside and shiny on the inside…make’s them nice to touch. My favorite piece is the salt cellar, it’s genius. The salt is kept in the handle and can easily be shaken to the surface. Brilliant.
